Note:The AlternativeAbbreviation is used for Reporting and Exporting purposes. On the Student Profile,
Academic Tab the user has the option to select the Use Alternative Language. When this option is
selected the Alternative Abbreviation that was entered will be used for the Reporting and Exporting.
The Description for the Competency is a Required field (). The user needs to enter a Description for the Competency. Should the user not enter a Description and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.

The Position for the Competency is a Required field (). The user needs to enter a Numeric Value for the Position . Should the user not enter a Numeric Value and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
When all information has been entered the Competency is saved by Left Clicking on the Save Button (). Should the user want to Cancel the Add Action, Left Click on the Cancel Button ().
The Level isa Required field (). The user selects the Level by Left Clicking on the Drop Down List Box (). When this is done a list of available Levels will be displayed. Should the user not Select a Level and attempts to Save () the information the system will give an indication () that this is compulsory information.
Select the applicable Level by Left Clicking on it in the list. Should the user want to enter a New Levelit is done by Left Clicking on the AddButton (). When this is done the Add Subject Group Page will be displayed (Refer to Add Level).
